The Paddock Cleaners are patented and of a robust construction and have been designed to need only a low power requirement for fuel saving. The design of the unit makes them operable in all conditions and with the range of two sizes, you have the capability to clean even the largest area.
Operation is easy, with a simple fitting to virtually any tractor available, and the design also ensures a low noise level.
All Nicholson Paddock Cleaners use the same brush type and a variable but extremely accurate depth control, using a horizontal ground driven roller mounted in front of the brush. This ensures droppings, bits of wood, stone, pinecones, etc. are contained between the brush and roller and deposited cleanly into the hopper.

PC900

The PC900 uses the unique patented Nicholson design for efficiency and finish, and is suitable for tractors of 17—hp upwards. It is connected with the lift arms and is lowered when approaching droppings and debris and raised to take it out of work. A PTO pump drives the brush which keeps rotating, ensuring a smooth, non-stop operation.
Capable of cleaning grass lengths up to 10 cm without rakes and 20cm with rakes the PC900 is ideal for concentrated application in the spring to remove winter build up of dead grass, which ensures better light and growth.

This same coverage is useful in the autumn as it assists drainage over winter. The intensive cleaning has a light “scarifying effect”.
The tipping height of the PC900 is 1.7m.

PC1800

A larger machine, the PC1800 is suitable for properties of 50 plus acres and yet can still easily be pulled behind tractors of 35hp upwards depending on the conditions. The wider sweep on this model enables large tracts of land to be covered efficiently – giving you plenty of time to do other things.

PC1800, like the 900 is hydraulically driven via a PTO pump, using one spool of the tractor. It has a tipping height also of 1.7 metres and is capable of cleaning up to 3 hectares per hour, depending on ground conditions.
